Moroccan Hash is a strain of hash cultivated in Ketama, a province located in the Northern region of Morocco that’s widely known as the “Mecca of hashish.”
Using hybrid plants known for their extremely high resin yields and THC content, Moroccan hash is produced by running the dry mature cannabis buds through fine sieves and collecting the desirable trichomes in a metal basin below. The trichomes are then hand-pressed into a dense slab then heated to maximize THC potency and enhance the cannabinoid and terpene profiles. The result is a highly concentrated end product with a light aroma and mild taste that retains the natural green-brown color of the raw plants at harvest.
Hash is one of the most concentrated forms of cannabis available due to an extraction process that retains all of the most potent compounds from the trichomes and leaves behind any unnecessary plant matter. Moroccan Hash, in comparison to other hash strains, contains approximately 60% pure THC and a light to medium level potency that makes it less psychoactive than other Middle Eastern strains.
